Logan Smith wins Humphrey Dumpty 10K

Logan Smith continued his standout season with another dominant win at Sunday’s Humpty Dumpty 10K, stopping the clock at 31:20.

Rose Nicholson claimed a superb victory in the women’s race, finishing in 38:08 to add another title to her growing list of accolades.

The event, hosted by Great Yarmouth & District AC, formed the fifth race in the 2025 Sportlink 10K Series.

The race followed a quiet, open-road course through the villages of Reedham, Limpenhoe and Freethorpe. 

Smith leads the way

Fresh from victory at Holt 10K, Logan Smith of City of Norwich AC was once again in imperious form, storming to a commanding win in 31:20. His performance came less than 48 hours after playing his part in a thrilling duel at the Aylsham 5K as fellow CoNAC star William Cork took the honours in 15:02.

Corben Reynolds of Great Yarmouth & District AC impressed on home turf, finishing second in 33:20, while Josh Smith, running for Waveney Valley AC and still in the M15–17 category, claimed a brilliant third in 34:04, showcasing a glimpse of serious potential.

Nicholson continues strong form

In the women’s race, Rose Nicholson of Waveney Valley AC took the top spot with a commanding run of 38:08, finishing 19th overall.

Cat Cummings of City of Norwich AC ran well for second in 38:46, just ahead of Louise McDonnell of Wymondham AC, who clocked 40:46 to round out the women’s podium.

A race to savour

The Sportlink 10K Series continues to deliver thrilling racing and with five events now complete, attention turns to race six – the Lotus 10K on June 20.
