
The Humpty Dumpty 10K, hosted by Great Yarmouth & District Athletic Club, returns this Sunday, June 8, as Race Five in the Sportlink 10K Series.
Here’s everything you need to know to get race-day ready.
Race HQ and Location
- Race HQ: Reedham Village Hall, Pottles Lane, Reedham, NR13 3HL
- Start Time: 10:00am

- The race starts and finishes on Pottles Lane, following a scenic circular route through the villages of Reedham, Limpenhoe and Freethorpe.
Parking
- Free car parking is available at the Village Hall.
- Please do not park on the road and follow marshals’ instructions carefully.
- Try to car share where possible to reduce congestion.
- Parking is at your own risk. Do not block the race course or obstruct driveways.
Race Numbers
- To be collected on the day from Race HQ from 8:30am onwards.
- Do not alter or fold your race number.
- Write your medical info and emergency contact details on the back before racing.

Changing and toilets
- There are toilets at the village hall.
- No bag drop is available, so you must leave your belongings in your car or carry them with you.
The course
- A scenic, undulating circular course run entirely on open roads.
- You must run on the left-hand side of the road at all times, especially near the 4km point, where runners will be on both sides.
- The course is clearly marked and well marshalled.
- There are water stations at 5km and 7.5km.
Headphones
- All headphones, including bone-conduction, are strictly prohibited.
- Any runner seen wearing them will be disqualified and removed from results.
First aid
- Qualified first aid personnel will be in attendance.
- If you or another runner needs assistance, notify the nearest marshal immediately.
Finish and race memento
- After returning to Pottles Lane and crossing the finish, head into the village hall and across the field to complete your run.
- A race memento will be given to every finisher.
Prizes and Awards
- Individual awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Male and Female overall.
- Age group prizes in five-year bands from Junior (16–19) to 75+, plus awards for the oldest male and female finishers.
- Team prizes for first 4 Male and first 4 Female finishers (lowest combined finishing places).
- Only one individual prize per runner.
- Prize presentation will take place outside at approximately 11:30am.
- Winners must collect their prizes on the day – no later collection available.
Results
- Results will be posted at totalracetiming.co.uk and gydac.co.uk shortly after the event.
