
North Norfolk Beach Runners will be hosting one of the best loved 10K races in Norfolk this Sunday, May 25.
The Holt 10K is race four in the Sportlink 10K Series, offering a stunning setting, a supportive atmosphere, and a mixture of light trail and road.
Race HQ and Start Location
- Location: Gresham School, Holt, NR25 6EA

- Start Time: 10:00am
- The race starts and finishes within the school grounds.
Parking and Facilities
- Free parking available on-site. Follow signage and marshals’ directions.
- Portaloos will be available.
- No changing facilities or supervised bag drop.
- Well-behaved dogs on leads are allowed on the school grounds.
Registration and Race Numbers
- Registration opens at 8:45am.
- Collect race numbers on the day.
- Write your name, emergency contact, and any medical information on the reverse of your bib.
- Race numbers must be visible during the race — bring your own safety pins.
- Chip timing is built into the race number.

The Route
- One-lap scenic course over a mix of quiet roads and trail sections.
- Roads are not closed to traffic — keep left and follow marshals’ instructions.
- The route is clearly signed and marshalled throughout.
Water and Medical Support
- Water station located at halfway mark (approx. 5K).
- First Aid present at the start/finish area.
- If unwell during the race, stop and alert a marshal.
Race Rules
- No headphones of any kind — including bone-conduction devices.
- No pets, prams, or wheelchairs on the course.
- Race held under ARC Rules of Competition.
- Minimum age: 16 on race day.
- Do not pass your bib to another runner after May 20 — disqualification will apply.
Prizes and Presentation
- Medals and water for all finishers.
- Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd male and female across the following age groups:
- 16–19 (Junior), 20–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, 75+
- Oldest male and female finishers
- First male and female teams of 3 (lowest combined finishing places)
- Presentation held outside after the race.
Refreshments
- A charity cake stall will be available post-race — please bring some change and enjoy a treat.
