The Coltishall Jaguars Flying 5K takes place this Sunday at the Scottow Enterprise Park (SEP), bringing runners back to the fast and flat surroundings of the former RAF Coltishall airbase. Here’s your essential race day guide.

How to get there:
- Take the B1150 through Coltishall towards North Walsham.
- Turn left onto Scottow Road just after the rugby club.
- Turn left again, signposted Badersfield, then enter the base (signed and marshalled).
- Follow signs along Main Drive to the parking area. Note: this may differ from previous years.
Parking information
- General Parking: Follow signage and marshals’ instructions.
- Disabled Parking: Turn left after passing between the hangars, continue to the start area and turn left again to park close to Race HQ.
Race HQ, number collection & facilities
- Collect your race number at the Java Bean Café.
- Toilets are located near Race HQ.
- Please do not use other areas on site as toilets.
Timings
- Race Start: 10:00 AM
- Please arrive early to collect your number and be ready to run.
Race numbers & safety
- Attach your number securely and visibly to the front of your vest.
- Complete medical and emergency contact details on the reverse of your bib before the start.
The course
- A flat, fast route along the old perimeter track of the airbase.
- Runners must stay on the left-hand side of the road throughout the race.
- The course has been measured for accuracy using the shortest route.
Headphone policy
- Enclosing headphones are not permitted and anyone wearing them will be excluded from results.
- Bone conduction headphones are permitted if your ears remain open to ambient sound.

- Runners placing in the overall top 3 are not eligible for age group prizes.
