Race 7 in the Sportlink 10K Grand Prix Series lands in Reepham on Friday, August 1, promising a summer’s evening of scenic running and community spirit. Here’s all the key info to help you prepare


Event Location

  • Race HQ: Stimpson’s Piece, Station Road, Reepham, NR10 4LL
  • Start Time: 7:00pm
  • Registration Opens: 6:00pm

Registration and number collection

  • Collect your race number on the day from Race HQ.
  • Please arrive early to avoid queues and make sure your number is securely attached to your vest.
  • Don’t forget to complete the emergency contact and medical details on the back of your number.

Parking

  • Main parking is at Reepham High School, NR10 4JT – about a 15-minute walk to Race HQ.
  • Disabled parking is available directly at Race HQ.
  • Please allow enough time to walk from your car to registration.

Facilities

  • Toilets, showers, and changing rooms available at Race HQ.
  • Extra portable toilets located beside the hall on Stimpson’s Piece.
  • Additional toilets available at the college near the car park.
  • A baggage store is available at Race HQ.

Refreshments

After your run, treat yourself to:

  • Barista Coffee
  • Real Fruit Ice Cream
  • Foot-long Hot Dogs
  • Chicken Fillet Burgers
  • Cakes, soft drinks, and a healthy option

Water will be available at the finish line – or bring your own bottle and leave it at the designated table.


Start of the race

  • Race start is a short 5-minute walk from HQ.
  • Runners will be escorted to the start line as a group.
  • Please aim to be at Race HQ by 6:35pm to collect your number and walk to the start.

Health & safety

  • Stay hydrated throughout the day.
  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before the race – especially if the forecast is warm.
  • If you’re unable to run, do not give your number to someone else. Doing so could compromise safety and race integrity.

Route Information

  • The course follows quiet country lanes and disused railway track.
  • Roads are not closed to traffic – always keep left unless otherwise directed.
  • Roadworks around 4K will require a single-file section of approx. 10 metres.
  • Surfaces may be uneven or slippery – take care.

Water stations available at:

  • 3.5K
  • 7K
  • Finish line
  • Cycling marshals will also carry bottled water for emergencies.

Finish & prize giving

  • The finish line is located outside Race HQ on the recreation ground.
  • Prize giving takes place at 9:00pm at Race HQ.
