
The Sportlink 10K Series continued on Bank Holiday Monday with a lively edition of the Breckland 10K, hosted by Thetford AC in the village of Croxton.
With ideal running temperatures and a slightly blustery wind, the third race in the 10K Series saw impressive performances across the board.
Panting powers to the front
Cameron Panting (Braydeston Milers) took the overall men’s title in 35:34, holding off strong competition from David Loomes of Saint Edmund Pacers who finished second in 35:43. Art Tonge claimed the third podium spot in 36:11.

Beck leads the way for the women
Amy Beck of Bure Valley Harriers was the first woman home, clocking a commanding 38:20 to take the win in the F40-44 age category. Claire Stroud was second in 41:03, with Louisa-Kate Keylock close behind in third, finishing in 41:14.
